$90,000 RAISED TO SUPPORT OUR REPUBLICAN PRIORITIES

Immediately upon taking office, Chairman Steven Wright formed and appointed members to the Fundraiser Committee. This committee led the effort to organize, plan, fundraise and execute what has become the Lowcoutry’s largest annual gathering of Republicans, the Dorchester County Republican Party Faith, Family & Freedom Dinner.

Since 2021, Dorchester Republicans have raised over $90,000 and invested these funds into building a robust and effective political organization. These investments include establishing a first-class website to engage voters, fully funding our County Council and State House Republican Nominees, and delivering a mail piece targeting 17,000 Republican voters.

These investments proved critical in contributing to the Red Wave that swept Dorchester County in 2022.

EFFECTIVELY ENGAGED OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS

Open dialogue and effectively engaging our elected officials is a cornerstone of the Dorchester County Republican Party.

Since 2021 Dorchester Republicans have hosted Governor Henry McMaster, Lt. Governor Pamela Evette, Attorney General Alan Wilson, Secretary of State Mark Hammond, Secretary of Education Ellen Weaver, State Treasurer Curtis Loftis, United States Senators Tim Scott and Lindsey Graham, Congresswoman Nancy Mace, Congressman Russell Fry, members of the State House, State Senate, and County Council.

We look forward to building on the positive relationships forged with our lawmakers in order to deliver conservative results for every South Carolinian.

GROWING OUR PARTY

Growing our party must always be a top priority.

Since 2021, membership has increased by more than 60%.

We accomplished this by increasing our public visibility through engaging events, investments in getting our message out, and sending a clear message that the Dorchester County Republican Party is a big tent organization ready to deliver for the people of our county.

By growing our party, we positioned our organization to deliver substantive results and win elections up and down the ballot.
